不管是哪一個世代的年輕人..總會忍不住對大人們這樣說

　　新團獨立搖滾樂團 Foster The People 的音樂除了包覆著

一層迷幻抽離的電子保護膜，也取樣復古作為實驗性的創新，撕

開其實是影藏著著實的獨立音樂精神，拿「Pumped Up Kicks」

來說，撥弄貝斯弦作為開場的節奏，再層層混搭一些電子元素，

有些人可能聽不慣這種沉悶, 無聊的東西，但細細品味你就會發

現「Pumped Up Kicks」從旋律, 節奏,到樂器的使用都是耐人

尋味的趣味。

而在歌詞方面，這首歌也曾經遭到電視台的禁播，因為

「PumpedUp Kicks」這首歌其實在敘述青少年淺藏著殺人動機

和混亂心境，歌詞中有涉及到槍還有子彈的字眼，但主唱Mark

Foster（好帥！）

表示其實當初寫這首歌，是因為2007年「Westroads Mall

shooting」事件，一名十九歲的青少年所犯下的槍殺事件而有感

而發寫成（當時槍殺九人後，隨後自殺），是要喚起社會大眾對於

暴力以及槍械的防範意識。是的，又再度以正面良好的心態作結尾。

（還是忍不住想說...主唱跟鼓手都好帥！）

這首歌很棒耶~有復古的味道~~可是會你忍不住跟著旋律一起吟唱...

這個很長的生字「pumpedupkicks」的整句歌詞應該是落落長的

pumpedupkicks指90年代Nike所出品的「氣墊(運動球)鞋」當

時愛耍酷的孩子們，都會一窩蜂地想要買來穿，而通常也是家境

較富裕的孩子才穿的起。歌詞裏，要這樣富裕的孩子們(因主角家

境很窮，看他們不順眼)趕快跑，免得被槍打到。

大陸也有翻成：

所有穿着「時髦鞋」的孩子們

還有翻成，不知所云的：所有與其他孩子「打氣踢你」

哇咧...這是什麼鬼啊..看攏謀捏...
